“Honda Motor Co., Ltd. (NYSE:HMC) is trying its hand at social media advertising; the auto maker has released a Facebook virtual community game in conjunction with the US launch of its sports hybrid coupe, the Honda CR-Z, reports Mashable.com Monday. Cie Games launched the game earlier this month, which allows players to customize, virtually purchase, and store vehicles in virtual garages. Players can take road trips, earn points by completing challenges and purchase extra cars and vehicle-related services. SmarTrend is bullish on shares of Honda Motor and our subscribers were alerted to buy on July 14, 2010 at $30.76. The stock has risen 7.6% since the alert was issued.
